About Michelle L. Lureen Michelle Lureen of Michelle L. Lureen Family Law Office of Shakopee Minnesota
Michelle L. Lureen
Michelle is a life-long resident of Shakopee Minnesota and began her legal career in a general practice law firm. In 2005, she opened her solo law practice and since then has been focusing on family law, basic estate planning and collections. She is an active volunteer in the Shakopee school district and a former Rotarian. Michelle received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1995 after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University. Michelle’s greatest joy is raising her two children and supporting them in their school and sports activities.

Michelle’s practice focuses primarily on family law issues like divorce, child custody between unmarried parents, child support, and parenting time issues.  Michelle approaches all of her cases with an eye toward a cooperative settlement, while being an aggressive advocate for her clients. For clients with children, Michelle understands that the family will continue after divorce, and she encourages her clients to build the foundation necessary to continue to co-parent their children after divorce. Michelle brings more than twenty years of experience to the table and her clients appreciate her creativity in the options she presents for resolution of difficult emotional issues.
